Saturday 10th July was a great sport day between The Boys' Brigade Nigeria Abeokuta South Battalion Council and Abeokuta Central Battalion Council both from The Boys' Brigade Ogun State Council.
Abeokuta South played host to Abeokuta Central while the return leg will hold on Saturday 24th July, 2021 at the same venue.
The match started few minute's to 9:00am with prayer by away team Chairman Mr. Olalekan Olujobi (CAPT) the host Council opens the scoreline while Abk Central striker Mr Olaide levels it up, the first half ended 1-1. It was a scintillating second half when both team scores 2 goals each to end the scoreline at 3-3.
Abeokuta South Battalion Council vice Chairman Mr. Adeniji Segun gave thanks to God Almighty and appreciates everyone present for the friendly match which was played to mark the 7th year anniversary of their Council.
The away team Chairman in his post match interview said thou the invitation was so short but he appreciates his team and he is using this medium to invite everyone again for a return leg which will hold at same venue same time on 24th July, 2021 to mark our 7th year anniversary and thanksgiving service on 25th July, 2021 at St. Jude Anglican Church Oke-Ijeun Abeokuta by 10:00am.
