OUR DEAR PATRON LADY EVANG MRS JANET EMI-OMOBOYE FINALLY LAID TO REST

William Walsham How ,wrote in 1864 that  

"For all the saints who from their labors rest,

who thee by faith before the world confessed,

thy name, O Jesus, be forever blest.

Little do we know that the death of our amiable Patron Late Evang Mrs Janet Emi-Omoboye took a large space in the heart of many in nook and crannies of the state and across all profession after seeing massive crowd at the wake keep yesterday Thursday May 19th 2023 at her residence in Adatan, Abeokuta Ogun State.


The Boys'Brigade Nigeria, Abeokuta Central Battalion Council was in the for front of the activities, from honers playing at the wake keep, to making the mourners have joys in their heart


The band corps were not left out in the colourful and befitting burial bestowed upon her.



The Chairman of the Council Mr Olalekan Ayinde Olujobi (Capt) express joy and believe that the departed soul is resting in the Bossom of her creator and advices us all to live well so that we can also have a befitting ending.

EVANG. MRS JANET EMI-OMOBOYE'S DEMISE: A LOSS TO THE BATALLION, COMPANY AND THE CHURCH.



Abeokuta Central Battalion Council Chairman of the Boys' Brigade, Ogun State Mr Ọlálékan Ayinde Olujobi (Capt) has described the death of one of our Patroness, Evang Mrs Janet Emi-Omoboye as a great loss to council, and the Christ Anglican Church, Ìjemò, Abeokuta. 


The number 1 brigade member in battalion who received the news of Evang. Mrs Janet Emi-Omoboye demise early today Monday 15th May 2023, expressed sadness on the loss of such a unique and highly distinguished woman and world class asset* with solace in the words of God who giveth and taketh at will. 


He expressed on behalf of the Abeokuta Central Battalion Council executives, ranks and file deepest condolences to; the family, freinds, relatives and colleagues of the late icon  who was a shining light in all ramifications. 



Little do we know in December last year when she invited us to play Christmas carol for her and she was filled with utmost joy that it will be the last with us at the Battalion Council and it is therefore *expected that all of us still breathing the breath of life will learn from her good deeds and as well pray for the repose of his departed soul.*


"Calm is thy slumber as an infant's sleep; But thou shalt wake no more to toil and weep:

 Thine is a perfect rest, secure and deep

UNDER 15 INTER-COMPANY FOOTBALL COMPETITION

 The maiden edition of Abeokuta Central Battalion Council Ogun State under 15 inter-company 5 aside football competition  will begin on Saturday 10th June, 2023 in preparation to mark this year anniversary which will hold in July 2023.




The football venue is Cathedral of St Peter Ake Abeokuta.

 EASTER FESTIVE MESSAGE FROM THE DESK OF THE BOYS' BRIGADE NIGERIA, ABEOKUTA CENTRAL BATTALLION CHAIRMAN



Peace be unto you all.

I want to give glory to the Most High God for giving us the breathe to be a living souls and to see another Easter festival (His death and resurrection).

Am using this medium to appreciate all our Patrons and Patroness for their support since the beginning of the year.

 I also salute all my Co-Executives, Captains, Officers and Boys at large for giving their time, substances and energy to make sure that our Annual Bible Quiz Competition was successful yesterday.

All the Bible quiz contestants especially the winners were well congratulated, more grace to perform better next year, amen.

"For God so loved the world and He gave us His only begotten son, for whosoever believeth in Him, shall not perish but have everlasting life" John 3:16.

According to this text, four(4) important things were stated,

Love

Giving

Not perish and,

Everlasting life.

I want to charge us, to always love one another, to give to the needs (prayer, money, advice, motivation etc), to do good for not to be perished but to have an everlasting life.

I pray that, God will deposit the spirit to be doing His will in us always, amen.

At this time of Celebration, let us do things normal and to be vigilant wherever we are.

Officers Basic Training Course, from Thursday 13th to Saturday 15th April, 2023 at Remo Methodist High Sch, Sagamu, Course fee #5,000.

NCO'S Basic & Advance Training Course, Fri 21st to Sat. 22nd April, 2023 at St Mathias Nur & Pry Sch. Ijeun titun Abk, Course fee #1,000. Company and Senior Sections are encouraged to participate.



I pray that, the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ shall not be in vain in our lifes, Amen.

2023 ACTIVITIES OF ABEOKUTA CENTRAL BATTALION COUNCIL BEGINS

 Good day Boys and Officers of our noble organization. On behalf of the Battalion Chairman, Mr Ọlálékan Ayinde Olujobi (Capt) I want to welcome everyone back to this year's activities and we also appreciate everyone that has contributed in one way or the other to the achievements and success of the years past. We pray may the good Lord help us all in Jesus name. Amen 


This is to notify us of the first battalion general meeting of the year for this month which will be holding on Sunday 19th of February, 2023 at Cathedral of St. Peter, Ake Abeokuta by 1:00pm. 

Let us all commit ourselves to the work of the Lord and He shall surely reward us bountifully.

CHRISTMAS STREET PARADE OF ABEOKUTA CENTRAL BATTALION COUNCIL

 

As we all know we are in the season of Christmas and the Boys' brigade is known for evangelism, in line of this Abeokuta Central Battalion Council will hold her maiden edition of Christmas street parade on Sunday 18th December, 2022 by 8:30am



All the 16 companies in the Council will have a street parade around the street of their churches at the same time with a lod funfair and sharing of gift to the neighborhood.
