The Boys' Brigade,  Nigeria, Ogun State Council under the leadership of the State President, Mr Olufemi Adeniji Congratulates an Amazon Broadcaster High Chief Basorun, Festus Oladiji Kehinde,on the occasion of his 60th birthday anniversary and retirement today, Wednesday, April, 2021 from the active Service of Ogun State Government. 

In a congratulatory message celebrating the Outgoing OGTV General Manager Basorun, Festus Kehinde,  the Boys' Brigade State President, Mr. Olufemi Adeniji said, "On behalf of my Executives, Officers, Boys, our Patrons and our Leaders, I join your wonderful family, friends, associates, well-meaning Church members and your Colleagues to heartily rejoice with our BB veteran  High Chief Basorun, Festus Oladiji Kehinde, on the occasion of your retirement after reaching the peak from the active service, Book Presentation and your glorious Sixty years (60th) birthday celebration on the land of the living at The Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Gbagura, Abeokuta today Wednesday, 28th April, 2021".

"Over the years, you have been an outstanding broadcaster and elder Stateman who served  Government dedicatedly in various capacities with enviable achievements. You are one of the most prominent BB veteran with personalities. As a public figure Chief Basorun and the General Manager of one of the best and our State Television Station ( OGTV) with moral values that are impeccable virtues which every human society should desire. You have truly inspired us Sir". 
 The State President and his entire team Prays that God will grant you many more healthy years, long life, more wisdom, enduring grace, peace and many more fruitful years to enable you eat the fruits of your labour in Jesus Christ Name our Lord.

BOYS' BRIGADE NIGERIA WEEK DECLARED OPEN

 To: All members of The Boys' Brigade, Nigeria.



Greetings to you in Jesus name, Amen!


On behalf of the National President of The Boys' Brigade, Nigeria, Sir Sunday Nnamdi Nwosu KSC, GCOA, MIoD who directed me to specially extend his regards to all ranks and file of The Boys' Brigade nationwide, I wish to thank you for your contributions and sacrifices towards the growth and development of our dearly beloved organisation.


Also, he has directed me to on his behalf declare the 2021 BB WEEK Exercise open, in the name of God the Father, the Son and the Holy Sprit. (Amen).


He is requesting all members of the BBN and friends of the BBN to be CARD CARRIERS during this period of BB Week; especially Officers. Subsequently, he is cautioning Officers & Boys to be mindful of the security situations around them especially the Boys.

I congratulate the entire Abeokuta Central Battalion on the success of the just concluded Election  of Officers for the Battalion.

I am proud to have 3 of the Exco members coming from my Company 1st Abeokuta Central Battalion Council attached to Trinity Methodist Church Itesi Abeokuta Ogun State Nigeria. Its a great one indeed and the beginning of greater things to come.

I  congratulate the Chairman Elect Mr Olalekan Ayinde Olujobi (Capt) and the other elected officers and pray for the grace and auction to function effectively.

THE HISTORY OF THE BOYS'BRIGADE

  The Boys' Brigade (BB) is an international interdenominational Christian youth organisation, conceived by Sir William Alexander Smith to combine drill and fun activities with Christian values.

Following its inception on 4 October, in Glasgow in 1883 the BB quickly spread across the United Kingdom, becoming a worldwide organisation by the early 1890s.

As of 2018, there were 750,000 Boys' Brigade members in 60 countries.

 THE OBJECT OF THE BOYS' BRIGADE 

The advancement of Christ's kingdom among Boys and the promotion of habits of Obedience, Reverence, Discipline, Self-respect and all that tends towards a true Christian manliness."
